The 8th Annual Art Eco - Connections with Nature at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden is just around the corner. Mark your calendars for the opening reception at the garden on March 16th from 5-7pm. This exciting event features numerous talented local artists working in reclaimed or natural materials. Reception for Circle of Life at the San Luis Botanical Garden

Sabrina Rouse's collection, Circle of Life,is a stunning photographic collection capturing intimate glimpses into the life of flowers, from the glory of their full bloom to their inevitable fading.

Sabrina's personal project and artistic obsession of growing unique flowers and photographically documenting the beauty of their growth is a natural fit to show at a botanical garden. We hope to see you there!

Circle of Life will be showing at the SLOBG October 27th through January 30th.

The 8th Annual Art Eco at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden is right around the corner!

This exciting event features 2D and 3D art made out of reclaimed or natural materials and has both indoor and out door display space.There is NO entry fee and artists may submit up to 3 pieces each. Submission deadline is December 10th, so mark your calendars and start creating. Art Eco will be showing March 16 through May 24 of 2012, that's over 10 weeks! The show will be highly publicized and coincide with numerous other well attended SLOBG events.

This will be the 8th Art Eco that Frame Works has sponsored, every show has gained new artists and a larger audience. We invite you to become a part of our growing Art Eco community.

5th Annual Art Eco

Frame Works is proudly hosting our fifth annual Art Eco exhibition of art made from reclaimed materials.

This year twenty talented local artists are participating in the show, each of whom brings his or her own unique vision and creativity.The high level of craftsmanship and ingenuity is sure to impress.

Frame Works will be donating 15% of all proceeds from Art Eco to the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden in support of their efforts to honor and preserve our connections with nature.

The Opening Reception for Art Eco will be on
Friday November 5th from 6-9
in conjunction with Art After Dark.

An Exhibition Featuring Art made from Re-Appropriated Materials

Frame Works is preparing for our 5th annual Art Eco this coming winter. It is our hope that you will bring your creativity to this endeavor.

All pieces are to be made from recycled, reused or reclaimed materials. As previously, we will be donating a percentage of sales to a local environmental organization.

If you are interested in participating please contact me to schedule an appointment to review your submissions.
Appointments will be held September 24th, 25th and 26th.

Please bring one to three submissions with a written description of each entry, materials used, title and pricing. Only submit work that
has not previously shown in the county.

Artist Opening Reception

Frame Works is proud to host this selection of paintings exploring the relationships between line, form, color, and texture.

Greenetz’s abstract minimalist painting style reflects an
architectural aesthetic while illustrating a natural and
systemic design philosophy.

Holland’s abstract expressionist painting style features improvisation through quick gestural strokes that draws from muscle memory and an expanding visual vocabulary.
